kosmos
kosmos, aka Ryder or "kos", is an isekai/interloper into FFXVI.
he's a 23 year old, binary pre-op trans guy, who uses he/him and was a gamer in his old life.
his appearance in the world of Valisthea is partially driven by Clive's decision to try to save Joshua at Origin, the ending location of the game.
this triggers a massive change in the story, causing an almost "New game+" mode, with Clive thrust back in time to just back before the battle between Shiva and titan
- with two new additions: Clive knows the plot and Kosmos' appearance...someone who was never in the original story.
ryder finds himself in the world he is familiar with and grappling with a newly found power, remarkably similat to Clive's own.
together, they must try and save this world and its' people - or see it fall to Ultima...
barnabas tharmr
barnabas tharmr is the king of waloed and the dominant of Odin. in a previous timeline, he fought for Ultima against Clive, along with his egi, Sleipnir.
however, in this new timeline, he meets kosmos and finds his belief and faith in ultima is shaken. after a failed test of faith, he goes on a journey of self discovery and he ends up aligning himself with kosmos and, therefore, clive.
sleipnir harbard
sleipnir harbard is the egi of odin, a being formed from him. he's served barnabas for nearly 40 years and is incredibly obedient to him.
in this new timeline, he, somewhat reluctantly, follows his kings' commands and begins to act as the primary protector of kosmos.
